JDK Posted April 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2013 One more Air Apache group to finish out the month. This A-2 jacket and accompanying paperwork came from a lead B-25 pilot with the 345th Air Apaches "Bats outta Hell" squadron. He flew half a combat tour before being injured by flak on a low level strafing mission Nov. of '44. He managed to get the plane back to base and recover from his wounds. 1. 2. Sabrejet Posted April 26, 2013 Share #20 Posted April 26, 2013 I once cut a stencil of this design (still have it somewhere) and applied it my friend's WW2 White Scout Car...looked good on there, even if I say so myself!
