Tyska Posted April 21, 2013 Share #1 Posted April 21, 2013 Hello, a friend got this parachute. The harness is stamped with Relliance MFC Co May 19? 1943. The parachute has only a small stamp with May 1959. He means the harness was used from a B8 Bomber Crew in WW2 and the parachute is used after the ww2 from the german Military. Could that be?Or what exactly it is for a model?

WWII Parachutist Posted April 24, 2013 Share #6 Posted April 24, 2013 The pack and harness assembly appear to be a standard B-8 rig and the chute looks like a postwar modification. The canopy looks like a postwar foreign made example by the weave of the suspension lines and the sewing details.
