M67 Grenade stenciling

Thanks, adds a touch above simple green grenades. I found that the sand cast grenades don't stencil very will, you end up with paint leaking under the vinyl lettering and smearing the print.

 

You may want to try this technique on the sand cast grenades...after applying the vinyl letters, spray another coat of yellow paint over the letters, after allowing the yellow paint time to dry, then spray the grenade with finish coat of od paint. Painting over the vinyl letters with the same color paint as under the letters will seal the edges of the letters and not allow the finish coat of od to bleed under the letters. After the od paint has dried you should be able to peel off the letters and have nice clean lettering with no bleed under.
