2nd Lieutenant bar, but what for?

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

Recently I purchased my first uniform, which belonged to a KIA B-24 Co-Pilot. One of the items which came with the uniform was a 2nd Lieutenant bar, but I have no idea what it could've been used on. Does someone have an idea? Thanks! :)

Definitely an earring.

Looking for older Virginia Military Institute items: insignia, uniforms, cadet sabers, documents, and groupings belonging to VMI alumni.

Also interested in Virginia Reserve Militia (VRM) uniforms and insignia, or other items of general Virginia interest.

That's for wearing in the officer's shower block, pin backs and clutch grips were pretty unpopular there :o

WW2 US Navy and Marine Grumman Wildcat, Avenger & Douglas SBD aircraft.
