German manufacture of insignia and lots of other items.

Pictured is an Enlisted Infantry collar brass with the Assmann "A" hallmark on the disk. There is a "005" on the back of the rifles.

Here are Assmann hallmarked US Parachute Badges made for the occupation forces after WWII. Assmann as many of you know made insignia for the German Military during the war. Their attention to detail and precise design is noteworthy.

I'll post the back sides of these badges below.

Note the numbers on each badge. Assmann numbered most of their badges. 265 is basic, 266 is senior and 267 is master parachutist.

FW Assmann & Sohne also made CIB's, both 1st and 2nd awards in full and half size. Here is a 2nd award CIB with the Assmann hallmark and number 192.

Shown here is the 1/2 size or 'mini' EIB produced by Assmann. It is marked 193/95. What is curious is that Assmann's 1st and 2nd Award CIB's in 1/2 size are also marked 193/95. For some reason Assmann used several number series for similar badges. The 1/2 size EIB seems to be scarce. I'm still trying to find one myself.
