More Vietnamese souvenir dolls

The base thrift store opened today after their spring break, and I found these two Vietnamese souvenir dolls stuck on one of the back shelves...that makes three of them in the past month...they are both 17 inches tall, and have nice clear "Made in Viet-Nam" stencils. I have 5 of these now, so I think I'll sell off these and one of the others and keep two for display....

Pretty cool, what era are they from?......mike

These dolls were popular souvenirs during the Vietnam War.

My mom tossed out the two she was given by a high school friend (Viet Nam vet). They were very much like these and I didn't want them (not my thing).

I'm assuming the three I found at the base thrift store were sent back to someone, or maybe a widow is selling off stuff...I was hoping I might find some other Vietnam related stuff, but no such luck...yet....
