eeeck...

My vote is a copy with nice patina.

Pins wrong, post war type, details seem soft.

A reunion wing maybe?

Maybe someone else knows more about the reunion wings?

Here is an original.

Best, John

That makes since. Now that I look at the hallmark I see the little spot at the end which I think was added for the reunion pieces.

Thanks for comp photos John!

If this is the same WASP wing as depicted in ebay listing #221204014098, the seller describes it as a "Post War" badge. Currently listed at over $200.00.......Save your money!

Couple more.

Notice the pins are not nail head type, but do

have small ring on the body of the pin itself to help

the cluch grab the pin.

This style of WASP wing was issued to classes 44-1 thru 44-10

Oh no, not buying it! I just wanted to check my thoughts with others as I have not looked at the WASP stuff in a while. I had not even thought about reunion.

During my research, some time back, I was told this by the manufacture of the early reunion wings. True or not, I have seen it a few times.

The length of the clutch pins is a big red flag as well.

And yes it is not crisp but the poor photos do not really show the quality of the strike or confirm the edge of a casting vs die struck.

Thanks,

All
