doyler Posted March 25, 2013 Author #9 Posted March 25, 2013 Very nice little walk-in package. If only you had the history behind each piece... Thanks Show is always around the SOS show date and its close so I go to it and it seems to always produce a surprise or two.Met a local guy who had a Japanese NLF helmet and a WW1 79th uniform as well. After the show I went and bought those as well. The uniform had a pull over issue shirt and was patched identical to the uniform.I have never seen a patched WW1 shirt before

doyler Posted March 25, 2013 Author #22 Posted March 25, 2013 I think the box is a medical plasma box. Nice buy! Makes sense.First I thought it may be a care package to a POW Camp. Then saw the refrigerated refferance. The return address is also to C Co 110th Med Bn.On the other side of the box is a large piece of medical tape with the same address as on the front. Also marked APO 35 and I believe this is for the 35th Infantry Division

doyler Posted March 25, 2013 Author #24 Posted March 25, 2013 Man this guy was busy collecting! Hope he finds the rest of it! The seller told me his relative was quite a card player.Maybe this was some of his winnings. Sounds like there were some pistols but they are long gone.
Brian Dentino Posted March 26, 2013 #25 Posted March 26, 2013 Some very nice pick up Ron.....great condition on everything, and quite the little haul for such a small box. Nice bring backs....
