rjhyden Posted March 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted March 17, 2013 Looking for tip hardware for web straps, the 1 inch webbing strap. Found some buckles but only a Brit company so far has the tips.
doyler Posted March 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 17, 2013 Try AT THE FRONT they have harware. They cater to re-enactors.If all else fails go to a harware store.Buy the copper end caps found in the plumbing section and use a tool or vice to crip and flatten them. You will need paint or another type chemical to blacken it.There are other sources on the net as well. They are reffered to as BALL TIPS if I recall correctly

Thanks a million, you know it took me a while to figure out what a ball tip was and I figured it out AFTER I had been to ATF. I forgot about them having them. I came across 11 feet of original od 3 ,1 inch strap at a junk shop today for 4 bucks and thought i could make me some bedroll straps.
