Forum Manager Posted March 10, 2013 #1 Posted March 10, 2013 THE USMF IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE APPRAISALS OR PRICES THAT ARE POSTED. Prices on militaria items are subjective and can vary greatly based on the item, condition, date of manufacture and documentation. Members may differ in their appraisals based on experience and collecting interests. Extended debates over which prices are correct are not encouraged as opinons will differ. Participation in this Forum is voluntary; if specific members choose not to comment that is their privilege. This is not an instant reply service. Appraisals may have to wait until someone familiar with the item chooses to comment. Some items may receive no comment. If you are not fully familiar with the item, please refrain from posting an appraisal that is not based on actual market prices. Inaccurate low appraisals can cause real damage with a seller receiving less than they should based on bad advice. High appraisals can cause an item to go unsold. Once appraisals are offered, the owner is STRONGLY encouraged to do some more research to insure the prices discussed are reflective of the current market. This section is intended for individual items of US Militaria, not entire collections. THE USMF IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE APPRAISALS OR PRICES THAT ARE POSTED.
