I have not found a name in either jacket as of yet, althought I have to amit I have not looked very hard. DRESS JACKET I would assume that the previous owner of this jacket was a higher level officer in the Illinois VFW. mvmhm Posted March 26, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 26, 2013 The four pocket is American Legion...this type uniform was worn before WWII, and I assume for some time after WWII...at least with the VFW, it wasn't uncommon to use their WWII uniforms with the addition of some VFW insignias...
