Just to bring it to attention, sometimes a little difference goes un-noticed, these are two .30 belt ammunition cans, they are virtually identical, however there are two minor differences. On the side of the can the lettered pressing is different at the end of the top line, one ends .30 M1 and the other ends .30 M2. The second difference is that the M2 can is identical in length and width but stands 3/8 inch taller. So in your collection displays, check your loads and check your cans, hope this helps.
