Lately, I have been collecting Airborne "yearbooks". I figured I would share one of my latest additions to the yearbook collections. It is a 1942 published book that covers the activation, training of the 502nd Airborne BN. While the outside is labled 502nd Parachute BN, it covers the 503rd and the 504th also. It has photos for each battalion's first BN CDR, BN Staff and the company command teams along with the officers and enlisted of the companies. If figured I would post some of the most interesting images that showing some young Captains and Majors that we all know as later on as Regimental and Divison CDRs. I am still going thru the book and I hope you Airborne history geeks enjoy these types of things as much as this one does.
