gpw_42 Posted March 3, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2013 Given the clarity of the pics, I'd hazard a guess that it's worth what you paid for it...it does not give me a warm fuzzy. However, if it's legit, I'd estimate it's worth somewhere in the $100-$150 range, though I haven't watched them lately. My estimate could be inaccurate. Have you checked either ebay or gunbroker completed auctions for what they bring? Steve
WWII_GI Posted March 4, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted March 4, 2013 I checked eBay ther were like 8. All reproductions sorry for the crappy pictures. The canvas is faded od3 and the makers stamp is there but faded. Ill try to get better pictures.

robinb Posted March 4, 2013 Share #8 Posted March 4, 2013 Looks like a repro to me.
WWII_GI Posted March 4, 2013 Author Share #9 Posted March 4, 2013 The snaps have the dot on the front and on the other side they are marked united Carr Boston mass.
robinb Posted March 4, 2013 Share #10 Posted March 4, 2013 Maybe so, but it's still a repro. One give away is the faint US marking. That's not faded, it's from a lightly inked stamp.
robinb Posted March 4, 2013 Share #11 Posted March 4, 2013 Here's a couple of my originals. They are both JQMD 1943. The markings are quite different from your pouch.
WWII_GI Posted March 4, 2013 Author Share #12 Posted March 4, 2013 Ok I'll just sell it As a repro
WWII_GI Posted March 4, 2013 Author Share #13 Posted March 4, 2013 I flipped it inside out and it is stitched wit nylon thread. There's a dead giveaway.
