"GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS!" In 1943 the WAR DEPARTMENT had Art Product Inc., print a patriotic booklet for civilians. On the second page is an official White House portrait photograph of then U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt followed on page three by the Commanders: Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson, U.S. Chief of Staff George C. Marshal, and six Lieutenant Generals, Leslie J. McNair, Henry H. Arnold, Brehon Somervell, Hugh Drum, Ben Lear Jr., Walter Krueger, and John L. DeWitt. General Douglas MacArthur appears on Page 8. One of the centerfolds is on Pages 10 and 11, quite colourful and obviously geared to excite boys who probably later joined or were drafted when they turned 18 years of age? ENJOY! thumbsup.gif
