D.A.T. Posted February 12, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted February 12, 2013 Possibly, but the Corps of Militarty Police was actually formed in 1922. Sorry, but I have no idea on or about the Military Police, only that I tried to avoid contact with them as much as possible in my three years of service. I found this website, stating that the Military Police Corps achieved permanent status in the U.S. Army on 26 September 1941, yet its traditions of duty, service, and security date back to the Revolutionary War. http://www.history.a...neage/mp/mp.htm
Darktrooper Posted February 13, 2013 Share #4 Posted February 13, 2013 The Military Police, has been formed and disbanded during nearly every War the US has fought. During WWII the Regiment was formed 26 Sept. 1941.
