I found the small (about 2 inch) cut edge fish patch with the Task Force 77 patches. Is it by chance goldfish club related?

Thanks and best regards,

Look's like the squadron was only around for 6 years or so, '54-'60. Are the backs marked, i.e.; Ace Novelty?

Since VW-3 was moved to Guam in 1952 the squadron has flown 41,500 hours or an average of about 15 hours every day and in that time has covered a distance equivalent to 19 round trips to the moon.

Thanks Firefighter.

They are not marked on the back. Hard to see but they are large, flight jacket size.

Best regards,

Hi Wharfmaster, Could it be the patch of one of the VW 3 Super constallation crews ? AEWRON 3 operated from NAS Agana from 1952 to march 1960.

Best, Croc

Thanks Croc, it may very well be a crew number patch.

Best regards,
