338thRCT Posted February 2, 2013 Share #1 Posted February 2, 2013 These are slides of Bunky T. Gunn, mascot of the US Army 92nd Assault Helicopter Co. in Dong Ba Thin and Bao Loc Viet Nam, 1967-68. He was with the unit at Ft. Carson,Co in 1967 and went to Viet Nam by ship in oct 1967. He sometimes flew on missions with the gun platoon the "Sidekicks" and at other times patroled the base on his own. These slides were shot by Sgt. Jim Tipton , who was Crew Chief aboard "Sidekick' from Nov. 67 to May 68. Some other scans are from the 92nd AHC Web Site.
