"GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS!" Colonel Dion Williams, U.S.M.C., produced the best work on the uniforms and insignia of the U.S. Armed Forces of the period along with Fred Gilbert Blakeslee who wrote "Uniforms of the World" eleven years later in 1929. This section is on the insignia and uniforms of the Army of the United States and runs from Page 64 through page 107. There was also then (U.S.Navy) Lieutenant John William Bunkley's WW1 and WW2 books on insignia. ENJOY! thumbsup.gif
