Wish the prices and selection were still good. :(

 

There probably are stores of those items stored in some hoarder's warehouse waiting to sell on eBay Auctions at a handsome profit to the seller. I knew a man in Oregon who owned an old warehouse with footlockers filled with WW1 Army collar disks, boxes of chevrons, uniforms, you name, he had it and would sell a little at a time. The U.S. Army maintained warehouses with McClellan saddles, conestoga wagons, uniforms for general officers, etc. You could still get that stuff up to the 1960s when collecting really took off.
