hirsca Posted January 22, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2013 On November 24, 1944, Mr. Ray D. Hubbard of Denver, CO purchased (or was it ordered?) six $100 Series E bonds for a total of $450, quite a sum back then. Different members of his family were shown as co-owners. In the middle of the left side, under the section "Witness," in the line stating "Credit," it looks like it is written: "Woman's Army S." Not sure what that means. Was it possible to dedicate where the bond funds would go? Interesting WW2 ephmera. Thanks, Al.
