The GHQ patch as a Combat patch on Chief of Chaplains Major General Roy H. Parker in the May 1952, no real info on Parker if you can believe it so don't know what unit he was in under GHQ or if he was on Staff.

He was Chaplain to Allied Forces HQ North Africa and then Chief of Chaplain Section, North Africa Theatre of Operations in 1942-1944.  He was also chief chaplain to Far East Command right before becoming Chief of Chaplains.

Interesting that the handler is carrying an M-14.  Carrying that instead of a CAR-15 while working the dog would have been difficult.

The old Buckeye Division back in action again, the Combat Patch of the current 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team worn by former commander Matthew S. Woodruff and Adjutant General of the Ohio Army National Guard in 2021. Believe when he was in Afghanistan he was the Brigade Operations Officer, this being before he was promoted and took over the brigade.

1st Marine Division combat patch, almost definitely from Vietnam, worn by a male drill instructor from a 1978 Fort McClellan WAC basic training yearbook.

This must have been one of if not the last WAC classes! I am pretty sure he would transfer over to the MP school and be a Drill over there for a few years. I might have a yearbook with him in it and better/more pics of him.

Allied Forces Headquarters SSI worn as a combat patch by Brigadier General Irvin L. Allen in 1959. Note that he is not wearing an SSI for his current unit assignment.
