JimD Posted January 21, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2013 Maj. Morris E. Sorenson served in the 38th Armored Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division. He was an S-2 Intelligence Officer and saw action in the Northern France, Ardennes-Alsace, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. On 27 June 1945 he dutifully filled out a "capture" paper and listed, among his many souvenirs, an "SS Knife". His "knife" was this M33 SS Dagger by Robert Klass with its original leather belt hanger. It is an early model with an anodized scabbard, silver-nickel fittings with the manufacturer logo only on the blade (no RZM code.)

Mr.Jerry Posted January 21, 2013 Share #6 Posted January 21, 2013 Really nice with the capture papers. interesting that they wrote the SS with the runes instead of just S's too.
