clllclal Posted March 4, 2008 #1 Posted March 4, 2008 Is the fastener in the bottom left hand corner WWII or post war? Thanks Chad
27thdivision Posted March 4, 2008 #2 Posted March 4, 2008 i believe that would be a mid or early war pin. i seen a few of them on uniforms from time to time. early pins where sewn on through loops. then the military went to that type before going to the common and current round one. If i am wrong someone please correct me.
GIl Sanow Posted March 4, 2008 #3 Posted March 4, 2008 Definitely WW2 era. Apparently made that way to get around the patent for the standard round clutch. G
Mr-X Posted March 4, 2008 #7 Posted March 4, 2008 Hi, that Distinguished Unit Citation looks like it is a metal one. Can I please see a close up of it? Thanks. Leigh
