uberguido Posted January 20, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 20, 2013 yeah, looks like an older Staff SGT Patrol Cap Pin. could go on a helmet liner too, but i dont know if a lot of guys did that because the pins and dammits on the back make it stick out and such. its hard to see in the picture but is it screwback or pins with dammits? These small ones with two screw posts were used on caps of all kinds. The metal chevrons used on helmet liners were larger and had one screw post. Check Emersons book "Chevrons", for more info.
