rrobertscv Posted January 18, 2013 #1 Posted January 18, 2013 The hospital I worked for in the '80's had several WWII veterans who did volunteer work, it was GREAT! Mr. Ben White, 5th Marines, veteran of Iwo Jima, Siapan and several other beach landings gave me these things. He actually brought the rifle to the hospital, luckly he didn't try to bring it in. Said he picked it up on Saipan, wrapped it in oil cloth and mailed it home. I don't recall where or if he said where the belt and buckles came from.
