Johnny Signor Posted January 7, 2013 Share #5 Posted January 7, 2013 I saw the posting on E Bay for this , seeing as there was a T-33 aircraft manual in the lot , there's a possibilty he could have been with a Air Defense unit or a SAC unit , they had some T-33 "hack" aircraft , with the Japanese Arch there on the patch it may have been a unit based out of that country , you might want to try the AF bases in japan in the late 50's early 60's as the flight suit is a earlier cotton type too . woofdog19 Posted January 10, 2013 Share #6 Posted January 10, 2013 Lt Col Milton Y. Veynar was the commander of the 2046th Communication Groups from 1962 to 1964 but I think this was an assignment prior to that. I have seen the patch before but cannot remeber where? dilligaff Posted January 10, 2013 Share #8 Posted January 10, 2013 Polder's Supplement 1 has the motto as the 18th Supply Squadron. Patch is shown in Vol 1 but has tabs on top and bottom with Okinawa and Kandena AB with out the motto as shown in your patch.
