siege1863 Posted February 29, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 29, 2008 Here are two separate purchases--a "Victory" Model Army .45 by Hubley and the matching box. The gun is made from a composite material called "wood plastic" and is quite fragile. Reminds me of a charcoal briquette! Because of the fragile nature, these composite guns were quickly and easily broken. Might be there are more surviving boxes!
doyler Posted February 29, 2008 Share #2 Posted February 29, 2008 I have one like yours. You are correct they are fragile. When my dad was a boy he had one and as the story was told he left it outside.During the night it rained and his .45 turned to pulp.Very nice to have the original box.
