double canister Posted December 31, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 31, 2012 Pards, This PH has been bugging me for months. I bought it at an antique mall in northeast Missouri, uncased and with no other material to help identification. Medal is a type 2-C with six digit number, slot brooch, and plastic heart insert. Number is 280557. I've tried running the name, Albert L Branon, all over internet, but can't seem to find any more info. Your help is most appreciated. Images are not the best, but the best I can do. double canister Posted January 2, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted January 2, 2013 Not a clue. If he died in 1976, it seems improbable he was a KIA. There's a set of BS and PH medals around the corner from me that is engraved to a local guy. He served aboard a B-17 and was wounded.
