gwb123 Posted February 29, 2008 Share #5 Posted February 29, 2008 Bizarre to say the least. Paging through Bragg and Turner's "Parachute Wings" 1985, pg. 75 you will find printed wings like this for Columbia. The background colors do not exactly match, but there could have been a change of uniform since then. Also, there is a gray/silver version like you have on the "back" of yours. (How do you know that is not the front? LOL!) What is still odd is that it would be printed on both sides. What is the utility of that if the wearer can only have one side up at a time. My other theory is this is a "blank" for a later embroidery process.
36-tex Posted February 29, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted February 29, 2008 Gil, not sure which side is the "front"! I was guessing the white side was.
