A Christmas Gift from a friend - Medal I have been looking for

Recommended Posts

Got together with a friend of mine for Christmas today and he gave me this nice surprise. I have always wanted an Air Force Distinguished Service Medal for my Air Force display and this is a nice example. He also gave me an art print of the USS Constitution that I can display with my piece of the deck cut out during repair / restoration in the 1970s

Nice gift you got there. Maybe it's just me, but I think I see the fainest hint of a hallmark on the to of that brooch...is it a lordship ind. strike?

"For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen" (Romans 11:36).
