hhbooker2 Posted February 27, 2008 Author Share #22 Posted February 27, 2008 That is prety neat stuff and a good reference source as well!. USMCRECON: Sears' Roebuck & Company along with J.C.Penney and Montgomery Ward used to sell to the military as civilian contractors for the Quartermaster Corps as well as individual military personnel in both World Wars. In 1953 my parents bought ,y uniforms for Porter Military Academy in Charles, South Carolina at Sears, Roebuck & Co., as well as J.C.Penney. Here is a lantern offered to officers of the army and militia in 1914. Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ( [email protected] )
