suwanneetrader Posted December 17, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 17, 2012 I hope this link works. It is about a Conn. lady who started to turn in a WWII German machine gun her husband brought back form WWII. The Police ? told her it was very rare and worth $20,000.00. They would give her $200.00 and destroy it. She decided to keep it, I imagine they know her name and the ATF will visit her soon. I think it is possible to legally sell it to a licensed Automatic weapons Collector or Dealer. Also due to age and scarcety is it a Curio and Relic? TheGrayGhost Posted December 17, 2012 Share #2 Posted December 17, 2012 Link is broken... From the title it appears to be an STG44. Sure hope the ATF doesn't make her destroy it.

Sabrejet Posted December 17, 2012 Share #5 Posted December 17, 2012 Aren't "guns" and "Connecticut" a rather emotive mix at the moment?
Jim Baker Posted December 17, 2012 Share #6 Posted December 17, 2012 Aren't "guns" and "Connecticut" a rather emotive mix at the moment? That is most likely the reason she turned it in.
