Mack-the-Finger Posted December 15, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2012 I have an OD7 cotton duck Case, Small Arms, Accessories for the M79 Blooper -let's draw a merciful veil over the fact that I originally thought it was for the M14 rifle, & that was the reason why I bought it- and I always wondered which was the correct way it was conceived to be carried in: since the buttoned strap is placed so low it doesn't suggest me the idea that it was meant to be carried on the belt, I may be wrong but it doesn't convinces me, on the other hand it seems it was neither intended to be snapped to the cotton bandoleer, nor I have ever seen a picture in which the pouch was carried in whatever way by the grenadiers. Does anyone know where it was intended to be carried? And what was the most common way to do it? Were those pouches actually used at all? Thanks a lot to anyone may have some precious hint about it
