CAPTMac Posted June 24, 2013 Share #3 Posted June 24, 2013 This is an officer's button from the Revenue Cutter Service, precursor to the US Coast Guard.
KurtA Posted June 25, 2013 Share #4 Posted June 25, 2013 This is an officer's button from the Revenue Cutter Service, precursor to the US Coast Guard. USCG would be a more accurate description. All my WW2 USCG uniforms have this exact button on them. Revenue Cutter Service was similar, but examples I have seen have the letters, "RCS" at the top.
