Collector .45

I recently purchased a large collection form a guy who collected during the 80's and 90's it has been in storage for the past 12 years and he had some really neat items. Included were several sets of wings. All the others are marked except for this one. Can anyone identify it and give me an estimate on the era?

The B-32 program was meant as a back-up, insurance against the B-29 FAILING (it did have its problems). Only a small number were completed and taken into service (one Group in WESPAC) because it took the same engines as the B-29, and -- based on early tests -- the failure/replacement rate for them was expected to be high. The Dominator was not a bad aircraft.

A B-32 fan once told me that the French very much wanted a long-range bomber force after the war and wanted to equip it with B-24s (parked in Europe by the hundreds) and B-32s. But Washington did not like that idea, so actively set about destroying lots of Libs and ALL Dominators.
