I have his badge team jacket and beret on the way so will pos that too... its not Tiger though! and the vet (Robert A. Bradow) wearing the shirt post war, and his modified 1-0 vest as well. http://www.modernforces.com/uniforms_Bradow_Modified_Tiger.htm Paul Bishop ---------------- http://www.modernforces.com MACV-SOG Living History Group "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." patches Posted April 26, 2016 Share #1389 Posted April 26, 2016 Yep first pattern tigers, soldiers name is apparently Sgt Joe E Jasper. There is another good one from same article of Msgt Wayne Whightsil fording a river in the same kit, tigers and early cowboy hat, both Special Forces. AG And here's that photo of M/Sgt Wayne Whightsil. Great photo right. As unbelievable as it might sound, I can find no other info on him other than stuff related to this photo, and the fact that he has passed in 2008 at 83. Even his Obit doesn't say anything on this old soldiers service, and this is from a Fayetteville NC paper, you know Fayetteville= Fort Bragg. Whightsil, Wayne, 83, Fayetteville, 12:30 p.m., Reeves Funeral Home chapel in Hope Mills. Burial in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
