YP13 Posted December 18, 2023 Share #1927 Posted December 18, 2023 Great thread guys! I'm learning a lot about these wonderful shirts. I don't know if the information has already been discussed, is it possible to know, approximately, how many tiger stripes were produced during the Vietnam war? indept Posted January 9 Share #1928 Posted January 9 I came across the this one. The size seems a bit of in order for it to be a genuine Asian size S. 49 centimeters pit-to-pit seems to me more like a US - M Can anyone confirm if this is indeed a genuine Asian size S uniform? Amra Posted January 14 Share #1930 Posted January 14 I just scored a kick-rump set of Tru-Spec Vietnam Tiger Stripe BDU’s including boonie hat off of EBay. The best part is that they’re standard pattern, standard cut but instead of the twill that used to make them out of back when they were made, these are actually Nycro/Cotton ripstop! I couldn’t believe it, an anomaly, never ever heard about them before. They came brand new in the plastic. They don’t appear to be old. I wonder when they were made, why, and who they were made for? Heres the pattern.

Thrifter_01 Posted February 7 Share #1935 Posted February 7 Recently found a 35mm slide that has someone wearing a Tiger Stripe uniform front and center somewhere in Panama. Came from a large grouping of an 8th SFG Lt. serving in Panama. Thought it would be worth a post here.

LE LOUP DES MERS Posted February 27 Share #1937 Posted February 27 I'm thinking about buying this boonie hat but wanted to get a second opinion first. If I'm correct it's a late war tiger stripe pattern, the embroidery appears to be made in country.

Loulounug Posted March 13 Share #1943 Posted March 13 Hello A incredible thread , gorgerous of variants and stripes types For our times, now : Is it pretty hard to find a TS shirt with officer insignia ? It seem that the pattern is getting harder to find in a good and authentic shape Thanks in advance Louis.
