This one is for that guy Gimp.
Here’s the gold colors printed on the classic silver Okinawa print.
I was at the printing house seeing this being made and took the pic.
This was several years ago.
I cut a piece of and it’s probably in my garage.

Some trousers I picked up. A light weight cotton, non-ripstop. Seem to be cheaply sewn together with no labels or markings. Pockets on the thighs, hips and have small buttons.

picked this hat up in the mid 1990's at a garage sale. I don't do VN era at all and always figured it's a repro, can any experts here confirm?

Love that suit, Owen. Are the trousers cut that tight at the calf or do they zip up? They look almost like jodhpurs.

Excellent stuff on the two new threads, as well.

It was a fun project working it out on something that puzzled me for years.

Looks more like Beo-gam in the original photo.

To answer your question.
The trousers put the skinny into skinny jeans.
My camera angle just makes them looked like jodhpurs and they do have both zippered pockets and cargo pockets.
Pretty cool pair.

Evolution of a pattern
Generally speaking as the patter gets older it gets smaller.
At the bottom is the French 52.
Easily to trace when studied fef7023e5c3bfb80011f14c017a3d2a8.jpg
