Tiger Stripes Part II

I have a box of camouflage that my dad brought back from the war after his 2nd tour late 1968. I noticed some of the cammo looks like a hunting pattern here in the USA. My dad said it was given to him by a Korean soldier. I have a boonie hat that he had the Hawk Recon scroll sewn on it for use in the rear area. I amazed at how damn skinny my dad was in those years of his life. Would you believe he ran a mile in 4:30 wearing fatigues and jungle boots at RECONDO school. Tom was among the first 100 graduates of the school.

I got the set from 2 different buys over a period of a year
Inside the pants and shirt were little love letters to a child from a doting parent making the set a little bit special
Here’s
I miss you

Here’s an Okinawa pic of typical kids both boys and girls wearing tiger suits mid 1960s

The set you commented on being "Looks like the repro set i have, darker in collor. Nice " is about as original as you can get.

?I did not mean that your set is a repro, but my set looks like it is a repro copy of the original set you show

Not sure if Kamo-man had posted this set before but there is no copy of it.

This set is the first experimental / test set from Ben Baker that he had made for Ciso.
