Here's an odd ball lightweight tiger shirt I picked up over the weekend at a show.

Unfortunately, someone removed all the SF patches but oh well. Inside the chest are two sewn jungle fatigue pockets.

The insignia does not look right on the tiger shirt. First warning flag is the double sided ARVN jump wings in two different grades.

Well this suit went for a pretty steep price. I was outbid at $1100, it finally went for over $1500.

For those who didn't see it was a fantastic classic pattern/JWD custom first pattern jungle jacket and trousers. What was really interesting was the label on the trousers. Any of the big boys seen this before? Experimental uniform?

Here are two tiger stripe jackets that I picked up recently and both were used by a US Special Forces personnel during the GWOT.

First jacket is a standard green, black, and gold tiger stripe. This jacket has no manufacturing tag or maker's mark on the inside.

The second jacket is a desert tiger stripe shirt, which was also popular with SF personnel in the GWOT.

Arch, the sterile tigers are very cool. Talked to a guy the other day, has a set thats modified, whats your take on that?

I've seen both modified and non-modified tigers (green and desert versions) being used in the GWOT. Plenty pics of both types being used by SF types in the field.

Here is a great Safari style tiger shirt I bought at the Portland show this weekend. Someone has taken an standard shirt and added two large / oversized pockets to the bottom. Then on the back they have added a belted type back.

Pretty cool in my mind.
