Steindaddie Posted November 19, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2012 This pillow cover was probably sold at the Boeing factory during the war. I recently re-discovered it in a box at my parent's home in Seattle. "Re-discovered" because I bought it at the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store in Seattle when I was 8 years old in the 1960's and assumed it was long gone. Anyone from the Seattle area who remembers the "St. Vinnie's" thrift shop sprawled along Lake Union will recall it was a gold mine of great stuff and great junk. PS. Price I paid back when: 5 cents. Orgone Posted November 20, 2012 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2012 Your pillow cover is fabulous. Pillow covers are common as dirt from military bases and training camps, but one from a defense plant is rare!
