There were several patriotic ads scattered about the catalog. I thought these would be of interest.

I love the welding gloves for women! Definitely a sign of the times they were living in. I wonder how my wife would feel if I gave her a pair for her birthday? Hey honey, look what I got you out of the Sears Roebucker!

I think I will place an order!

I also have picked up a couple of these type catalogs, great war time history. In mine I have noticed some notations about being unavailable due to the war on some items. It is really interesting to see the original retail prices on things I have.

To look at the catalog, it is surprising in a way, that so many items were available.
