craig_pickrall Posted February 21, 2008 Author Share #39 Posted February 21, 2008 There were several patriotic ads scattered about the catalog. I thought these would be of interest. PATRIOTIC ADS:

Bugme Posted February 21, 2008 Share #43 Posted February 21, 2008 I love the welding gloves for women! Definitely a sign of the times they were living in. I wonder how my wife would feel if I gave her a pair for her birthday? Hey honey, look what I got you out of the Sears Roebucker!

Brian Keith Posted February 21, 2008 Share #47 Posted February 21, 2008 I think I will place an order! I also have picked up a couple of these type catalogs, great war time history. In mine I have noticed some notations about being unavailable due to the war on some items. It is really interesting to see the original retail prices on things I have. Thanks for taking the time to post so much! BKW
Gregory Posted February 21, 2008 Share #48 Posted February 21, 2008 To look at the catalog, it is surprising in a way, that so many items were available. Craig, You posted excellent thing! I think that not only you are surprised that this company manufactured so many items for the armed forces. Thank you very much for such an informative topic.
