Richard I Bong Veterans Historical Center (Superior, WI.)

I've been meaning to post this here for some time. I'm a few hours away, but whenever we are in the area, I always stop in for a visit. It's a great little museum especially for the aviation nut like me. Some of Bongs personal items are on display. Most impressive is his MOH and a static P-38 painted up like his.

I took a few photos with my iphone so the quality is not the greatest, but you can get a good idea of what is there. If you're in the area, it is definitely worth a visit!!
