mrhell Posted November 15, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2012 Hi, Picked this up recently and was wondering if it's military? It looks like an IV hanger stand that you would clamp on to a cot or stretcher. I don't see any "U.S." and the only markings are: "Spolar Bros Tool Corp" Collapsed length is 21", fully extended length is 48" Any thoughts? panzerbait Posted November 15, 2012 Share #2 Posted November 15, 2012 I think it's military. Any more where that one came from?!?
mrhell Posted November 15, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted November 15, 2012 No, I have just the one, picked it up at an auction. Wasn't able to find out anything on the net.
panzerbait Posted November 15, 2012 Share #4 Posted November 15, 2012 I saw one of these sell on ebay in the last few months and the guy said it was for holding IV bottles. As I distinctly recall he also had wartime photos of this attached to a cot and/or bed with an IV bottle attached. The seller claimed it was military and I think I would have to concur.
