dee222 Posted November 13, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 13, 2012 I have two warrant officer uniforms in my collection, which i researched and he has 18 years service yet he is wearing no service stripes, the second one has 16 years service yet again no service stripes, is this common practice for warrant officer not to wear service stripes ? Thanks Dave
patches Posted November 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2012 It will be only your Enlistedmen who wear Service Stripes, Warrant Officers like Commisioned Officers do not, even if they served previously as EMs, they will however wear their Good Conduct medals and the ribbon for them if they were awarded the GC, that's all. hueytaxi Posted January 13, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2013 You might find sleeve stripes on Warrant and Commissioned designating overseas service. I never added them to my uniforms. Not sure I recall any junior officers that did.
