hawkdriver Posted November 17, 2012 Share #152 Posted November 17, 2012 Has anyone figured out what a $17,000 plus reserve cost them in eBay fees?
ajbUSWM Posted November 17, 2012 Share #153 Posted November 17, 2012 Didn't cost them anything... it didn't meet reserve.

w4uvv Posted November 17, 2012 Share #155 Posted November 17, 2012 It may not have cost him anything. Ebay has been losing business for the past year or more. I have listed several items in the past year and all fees for photos and a couple other listing fees were waived. Ebay's policies are fluid and change at a whim. 10thMountainWWII Posted November 17, 2012 Share #157 Posted November 17, 2012 why would anyone ever desire to pay $17,600 for a uniform group? You can buy a car...

Squad leader Posted November 22, 2012 Share #159 Posted November 22, 2012 Just in case you wanted to know the reserve was $19500. Dan.
Kadet Posted November 22, 2012 Share #160 Posted November 22, 2012 why would anyone ever desire to pay $17,600 for a uniform group? You can buy a car... Actually, for something legitimate, I would much rather invest this kind of money in militaria than a car. I HATE the idea of spending a bundle of money on something that I KNOW will become virtually worthless over time. Which is why I drive a 2003 Honda Civic
warpath Posted November 22, 2012 Share #161 Posted November 22, 2012 I assume you all know who the seller is...Bagwell's auction.
turmanator Posted November 25, 2012 Share #162 Posted November 25, 2012 The more I look at it all I tend to agree that there is nothing that ties ANY of this stuff together. Can'tsay that with all this admittedly cool stuff there are no photos or paperwork for the guy. Just looks like a bunch of (nice) random 82 AB stuff with no provenance and I don't like the "aging" on the helmet... How does the guy look at himself in the mirror long enough to shave? CNY Militaria Posted May 14, 2016 Share #163 Posted May 14, 2016 This same group, minus a few pieces, sold for $2600 at auction today. https://www.proxibid.com/aspr/WWII-Post-WWII-Named-82nd-Airborne-508th-PIR-Grouping/29942315/LotDetail.asp?lid=29942315
