Not sure if the images at the fold3.com link show the actual ship in question or not... heading to bed here, so I've not taken much time to peruse it... the evasion reports look to be rather interesting.

Yep, checked out the AAF Forum and Fold3, no help.

The picture of the crew by "Hey Doc!" is the crew that crashed in 42-30010, see above, in 1943.

I am also trying to find info on the SN for Hey Doc!

Have you tried contacting the current "reunion" for the Group/s the two aircraft were with , they usually have a unit historain that may be able to help you.

Sure did but no reply. At least the email didn't bounce back.

Well sometimes they're busy with reunion set ups etc , and most of them are probably older too , give them some time they may still answer you , if not drop them another email .
