CDWells Posted November 13, 2019 Share #203 Posted November 13, 2019 This is really neat to see. Is there a monograph on GCM? If anyone is interested, I have two named GCM's I can post later. Kindle takes lousy pics. One is an odd duck. It is a late replacement to a Korean War Air Force vet, Raymond L Stanfill. The other is a WWII sewn style to an H W Fafser. Bruce Linz Posted November 13, 2019 Share #204 Posted November 13, 2019 Hello, As far as I know there is no monograph on Army Good Conduct Medals. Years ago there was an article about them in the OMSA Medal Collecting Journal. It deals primarily with how to differentiate the different types of Army Good Conduct Medals and when each was produced. A very well done article and a good place to start learning about these medals. Semper Fi, Bruce Linz

Reforger Posted January 23, 2020 Share #208 Posted January 23, 2020 There were numerous men with the same name, but I was able to identify the recipients of both medals: John LaMonica, CA (1921-2006) and Runo C Johnson, MA (1922-1992)

Reforger Posted March 6, 2020 Share #213 Posted March 6, 2020 I think that should be enough Army Good Conduct Medals. The display is full now. It has to stop somewhere, right? But I am looking forward to seeing what else is out there. So post 'em if you got 'em!

kfields Posted October 5, 2020 Share #221 Posted October 5, 2020 Here is one I picked up this past weekend for c-h-e-a-p at the local flea market. Mr Morgan was from Springfield, Ohio and passed away in 1992. All I know so far. Kim
