m1a2u2 Posted October 31, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2012 I am looking for two pictures from a USMC manual in the early 1900s of a marine officer from the front angle and back angle. He is wearing leather web gear. Thanks guys!
Bob Hudson Posted October 31, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 31, 2012 There is one forum thread on leather suspenders, but it is Army: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/18877-rare-leather-suspenders-circa-1905/
Bagman Posted November 1, 2012 Share #3 Posted November 1, 2012 What you're looking for can be found in the Marine Corps' Uniform Regulations 1912. Here's a link to an online copy of the regs. Start paging through. The images you want are Plate 11 toward the back. http://archive.org/stream/usmarineuni00unitrich#page/n167/mode/2up Respectfully submitted, Bagman
